# Home feed

Home is the fastest way to see new creations and activity across floored. Use it to follow people and collections you care about, browse public activity, or scan recently created Ethscriptions.

## Before you start

* Guests can use **Global** and **Recent** and can open public content.
* A verified wallet is required to use **Following**, like content, follow people or collections, and add comments.
* Comments and replies are Ethereum transactions. They require wallet approval and gas.

## Find Home

Select **Home** in the bottom navigation on mobile or the left navigation on desktop.

## Choose what to view

1. Open **Home**.
2. Choose one of the tabs at the top:
   * **Following** shows activity from people and collections you follow. It appears only for verified accounts.
   * **Global** shows broader public activity across floored.
   * **Recent** shows a grid of recently created Ethscriptions instead of activity cards.
3. Scroll to load more results.

The selected tab is active when its label is highlighted and its content appears below it.

## Filter Following or Global

1. Choose **Following** or **Global**.
2. Select the filter icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Choose the activity types and order you want to see.
4. Close the filter menu to view the updated feed.
5. Use **Reset** in the filter menu to restore the default view.

The filter icon indicates when filters are active. Filters affect only the current activity feed.

## Filter Recent Ethscriptions

1. Choose **Recent**.
2. Use the controls above the grid to choose a media type, newest or oldest order, and whether token content is included.
3. Select an item to open its detail page.

Recent uses its own filters. Activity filters from Following or Global do not apply to it.

## Use an activity card

An activity card identifies who acted, what happened, the related item or collection, and when it happened. Depending on the card, you can:

* Select an avatar or name to open a profile.
* Select a collection name to open the collection.
* Select the media to open the Ethscription.
* Select the heart to like or unlike supported content. A filled heart means your like is active.
* Open the comments for the related item, profile, or collection.
* Select **Remix** on compatible media to open it in Create.
* Open the underlying profile, collection, or Ethscription when you want to share it.

If a write action is unavailable to a guest, floored shows a sign-in or verification prompt instead of changing the content.

## Build your Following feed

1. Open a profile or collection from Home or Search.
2. Select **Follow** or **Follow back**.
3. Return to **Home > Following**.

**Following** on the profile or collection confirms that the follow is active. New matching activity can then appear in your Following feed. Existing activity may not be added retroactively.

If Following is empty, verify your wallet and follow at least one profile or collection.

## Refresh the feed

On a touch device, pull down until the refresh indicator appears, then release. A spinner remains visible while floored requests new data. Activity can take a short time to appear after an Ethereum transaction confirms.

## If something is missing

* **Following is not visible:** You are browsing as a guest or your wallet is not verified.
* **A like or follow control is disabled:** Verify your wallet, then try again.
* **Recent has different filters:** This is expected. Recent is an Ethscription grid, not an activity feed.
* **An event has not appeared yet:** Pull to refresh and allow time for confirmed Ethereum activity to be processed.
* **The feed is still empty:** Reset the active filters or switch to Global.

## Activity types

Home can include creations, posts, comments, likes, replies, follows, transfers, listings, purchases, sales, auction events, and escrow movement. Related events can be grouped into one card.
