Collections and ownership
A collection groups related Ethscriptions so you can browse their items, traits, owners, activity, comments, statistics, and marketplace listings together.
How an item joins a collection
Collection information can give an Ethscription a collection name, item name, item number, supply, symbol, description, and traits. This information adds context without changing the original Ethscription content.
If floored has not matched an item to recognized collection information, it appears in an Unknown group. The item is still a valid Ethscription and keeps its owner. Collection-only features, such as collection statistics and holder chat, are not available for the Unknown group.
Browse collection items
A collection page can show:
- Owned: Items in this collection owned by the profile you are viewing
- Collection: All collection items currently available in floored
- Market: Active listings for collection items
- Holders: Addresses that own items and the number held by each address
- Activity: Creation, transfer, sale, listing, bid, auction, and comment activity
- Comments: Discussion about the collection
- Statistics: Supply, owners, sales, volume, average price, and activity over time
When you view your own eligible items, select Select to choose one or more items for transfer.
Understand escrow
When an item is listed or auctioned, a supported marketplace contract may temporarily hold it. This is called escrow.
floored keeps the item connected to its listing or auction so contract custody is not mistaken for an ordinary collector. Holder and profile views may still show the item with an escrow label while the market action is active.
For a floored Market listing, choose Remove from escrow to cancel any active listing and return the item in one transaction. Choose Cancel listing instead only when you want to stop the sale but leave the item in escrow. floored does not provide auction settlement controls or identify the auction platform in the current Activity view. Return to the platform where you originally started the auction. If you do not recognize it, do not connect your wallet through a guessed or unverified link.
Use traits and attributes
Traits describe stable qualities of a collection item, such as a background, color, or character type. Select collection filters to narrow items by available traits. An Ethscription detail page shows Attributes only when floored has trait information for that item.
Understand delayed updates
Collection statistics and owner views are built from Ethereum and marketplace activity. A transaction can confirm on Ethereum before the collection page updates. If a recent change is missing, wait a moment and refresh the page.
