Get started
Start by browsing as a guest. You can explore public feeds, Ethscriptions, collections, profiles, marketplace listings, and auction status without signing anything. Connect a wallet later when you want to follow, comment, create, buy, sell, or transfer.
Choose how to enter
- Continue as guest
- Browse public content without connecting a wallet. You can also edit pixel art, save creator drafts on this device, and use a separate guest Chat session when it is available.
- Connect wallet
- Use a supported external Ethereum wallet. Your wallet keeps control of its private key and asks you to approve signatures and transactions.
- Create embedded wallet
- On supported iOS devices, create a wallet that is stored on this device and protected by device authentication.
Recommended first visit
Select Continue as guest, explore the Global feed, open an Ethscription, browse a collection, and review Market before you connect a wallet.
Take a quick tour
- Open Home. Select Global to see activity from across floored, or Recent to browse newly created Ethscriptions.
- Open an Ethscription. Review its media, creation record, current owner, activity, comments, and any active listing.
- Open a collection. Browse its items, owners, listings, activity, comments, and statistics.
- Open Market. Compare active listings and browse auction cards with the current bid or reserve and time status. The auction view is for browsing only.
- Review Settings. Choose your language and control notifications, haptics, balance visibility, and app colors.
What needs a verified wallet?
| You can do this as a guest | Connect and verify a wallet to do this |
|---|---|
| Browse public feeds, profiles, collections, and Market | Follow people or collections |
| Search and open public Ethscriptions | Like, comment, or reply |
| Draw pixel art and keep local drafts | Create an Ethscription |
| Review listings and auction cards | Buy or list through a supported marketplace, or transfer an item you own |
| Use guest Chat when available | Use your Ethereum address as your Chat identity |
Connect and verify
Connecting lets floored see the address you selected in your wallet. Verification asks you to sign a message to prove that you control that address. Signing the verification message does not move ETH or an Ethscription.
After verification, actions that change Ethereum ownership or contract state still require a separate transaction approval. Read every wallet prompt before you approve it.
If you switch accounts in your wallet, confirm that the address shown in your floored profile matches the account you intend to use.
Find your way around
On mobile, the main destinations are in the bottom tab bar. Inbox opens from the bell in the header. On desktop, the same destinations appear in the left navigation.
| Destination | What you can do there |
|---|---|
| Home | Browse activity from people you follow or from across floored, and view recent Ethscriptions |
| Inbox | Review notifications about social activity, marketplace actions, and wallet events |
| Market | Browse listings, buy or list through supported marketplace controls, and compare auction cards |
| Create | Make an Ethscription from text, an image, a file, or pixel art |
| Chat | Send encrypted messages, review message requests, and join eligible groups |
| Profile | View collectibles, activity, comments, follows, messages, and account controls |
Refresh a page
On a touch device, pull down on Home, Market, Collections, a profile, a collection, Inbox, or Chat to refresh it. If a confirmed Ethereum transaction has not appeared yet, wait a moment and refresh again because floored may still be updating its blockchain data.
