Fees and confirmations

Before you approve an action, floored and your wallet show the amount you are sending and the estimated Ethereum network fee. The final fee can change before the transaction is submitted.

What you may pay

ActionWhat to expect

Transfer an EthscriptionAn Ethereum network fee. No purchase price is involved.
Create, update, cancel, or withdraw a listingA network fee when the action changes marketplace contract state.
Buy a listingThe displayed purchase price plus an Ethereum network fee.
Add, reply to, or delete a commentAn Ethereum network fee. Each action creates or transfers a comment Ethscription.
Follow or likefloored asks you to verify your wallet before it saves the change.

Ethereum calls its transaction-processing fee gas. Creator studio shows low and market gas estimates. Your wallet shows the final estimate before approval.

Understand marketplace and auction fees

A supported marketplace or auction contract can take a fee when a sale completes. floored shows available fee information in its listing panel. Review auction fees in the compatible interface you use for the auction action.

floored currently lets you browse auction cards but does not provide controls to start an auction, place a bid, or settle one. If you use another interface for an auction action, review its ETH amount and network fee there.

Why a confirmed transaction may not appear immediately

floored keeps a searchable copy of Ethscriptions, ownership, collection, social, and market activity. This is called indexed data. Ethereum can confirm a transaction before that copy updates.

If Etherscan shows the transaction as confirmed but floored still shows Pending, wait a moment, then pull to refresh or reopen the detail page. Do not repeat a creation, purchase, or transfer until you have confirmed that the first transaction failed.
